Your privacy matters. Heaven’s Calendar is designed around a simple principle: use only what is necessary for the app to function.
Heaven’s Calendar is provided by Treasury of Zion, Inc. (“Treasury of Zion,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). We are dedicated to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Heaven’s Calendar mobile application handles user information.
Heaven’s Calendar is designed as an offline-first, client-side utility. We do not require account registration, and we do not collect, sell, or monetize your personal information.
INFORMATION WE ACCESS AND HOW WE USE IT
LOCATION DATA (FOREGROUND ONLY)
Purpose: The application requests access to your device's approximate or precise location solely to calculate accurate astronomical solar coordinates, such as astronomical dawn, sunrise, and sunset, using local mathematical algorithms.
On-Device Processing Only: All solar and celestial computations occur entirely on your device. Your location coordinates (latitude and longitude) are never transmitted to external servers, stored in remote databases, shared with third parties, or used for tracking purposes.
Revocable Permission: You can disable location permissions at any time through your device's system settings. If disabled, the application defaults to predetermined reference coordinates.
LOCAL STORAGE & DEVICE PREFERENCES
The application utilizes local device storage, including SQLite and native storage, to cache calendar configurations, user preferences, and notification schedules.
This data remains strictly on your device and is never synchronized with an external server.
NOTIFICATIONS
Heaven's Calendar uses local device notifications to deliver alerts for holy days, Sabbaths, and morning dawn markers.
These notifications are scheduled and triggered directly by your device's operating system.
No remote push notification servers, device tokens, or external messaging services, such as APNs or FCM push servers, are used to track or message your device.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES & ANALYTICS
NO ADVERTISING
The application contains no third-party advertisements or ad-tracking SDKs.
NO ANALYTICS TRACKING
We do not collect behavioral analytics, device identifiers (IDFA/GAID), or usage tracking telemetry.
WEATHER DATA
Weather integration is not active in the current release of Heaven's Calendar.
If weather data integration is activated in a future release, this Privacy Policy will be updated as appropriate to describe how that functionality handles information before or in connection with its release.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Heaven's Calendar does not knowingly collect or solicit any personal information from children under the age of 13.
The application is designed for all audiences and contains no mechanisms for collecting personal information as described in this Privacy Policy.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically.
Any updates will be posted directly to this page with an updated revision date.
